Jennifer Hudson's brother-in-law and main suspect in her family's murder case has informed police he is not willing to submit to a lie-detector test.
According to the Associated Press, William Balfour has continued to claim his innocence, however, upon being asked to take a polygraph test yesterday (October 29) to back-up his story, he has refused.
Chicago police have also discovered a gun yesterday (October 29) near the area that his slain stepson, Julian King, was discovered earlier in the week.
"There was also some small bits of evidence recovered," Deputy Chief Nicholas Roti told the AP.
The weapon has been taken to the Illinois State Police crime lab and will be tested following a report.
As previously reported by SOHH, Chicago authorities believe their may have been an accomplice in the deaths of Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, brother, Jason Hudson, and nephew.
