A select group of Master P's popular 90's No Limit Soldiers roster will be joining forces once again for a special reunion tour traveling across the nation this winter.
Rappers Mia X, Mo B. Dick, Mr. Serv-On, KLC and Fiend are scheduled to make an exclusive ten-city only tour to bring their core audience a memorable experience.
"We owe this tour to our fans," Mr. Serv-On said in a statement. "This is long overdue."
The
tour will make stops in major cities Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis,
Cincinnati, Cleveland, Baton Rouge, Jackson (Mississippi), Nashville
and New Orleans.
Beginning in 1990, Master P brought No Limit Records to the mainstream with the help of additional roster artists including Silkk the Shocker, C-Murder, Mystikal, Soulja Slim, Snoop Dogg and others.
An official start date has yet to be released for the upcoming tour.
In related news, P has prepared the launch of his own television station titled Better Black Television (BBTV) that will look to compete against popular cable network Black Entertainment Television (BET).
According to Billboard,
he will be using the African American-targeted channel to provide a
wide range of programming including headline news, sitcoms, cartoons,
reality-based shows, plus many more with an additional aim at
displaying "responsible hip-hop music and videos."
"I
believe that there is a market in our community for a new diverse
network that provides a new brand of superior programming that caters
to all aspects of television," P told Billboard. "From reality to original programming."
He has already scouted and positioned a range of successful figures including Denzel Washington, NAACP executive director Vicangelo Bullock, NBA player Derek Anderson, hip-hop originator DJ Kool Herc and many more.
BBTV is currently scheduled to officially hit television sets next year.
