News: Lyfe Jennings Arrested After High Speed Chase, Hit W/ Gun Charges

R&B recording artist, Lyfe Jennings is facing felony charges after firing a gun and leading police on a car chase in Georgia over the weekend.
According to TMZ, at approximately 9:30 pm on Sunday,
October 19th, Smyrna Police responded to a report of gunshots. As they
approached the scene they spotted, Columbia recording artist, Lyfe
Jennings (born Chester J. Jennings) leaving the area in his 2005 red
Corvette.
Jennings, who was incarcerated from 1992-2002 on an arson charge, led the police on a chase, which ended when he crashed his car.
The 35 year-old crooner was arrested and charged with attempting to elude and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, which are both felonies. He also faces misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass, discharging a firearm near a public highway and refusal to take a sobriety test.
Lyfe was initially taken to the Smyrna City Jail and was later transferred to the Cobb County Detention Facility.
