Jay-Z and Lil' Wayne

In this week's Pulse Report the streets are buzzing about Lil' Wayne and Jay-Z having performance issues, Jim Jones professing his love for JIgga, T.I. coming clean on Tyra Banks and Suge Knight partying with Diddy's sloppy seconds.

1. Problem Heir? It doesn't seem like the transition of power from Shawn Carter to Dwayne Carter is going as smoothly anymore. Aside from not being on the same stage to perform "Mr. Carter" together (as promised), it appears the Carters are not even on the same page when it comes to their future collaborations. On Monday (October 27) in Boston Jay-Z had to extend his set to fill in for a no-show Weezy. Then the next night at the Powerhouse concert in New Jersey, Jay seemingly got back at Wayne by not coming out for the much-hyped "Mr. Carter" performance. While the tit-for-tat robbed fans of a special moment, the show still went on.

Wayne rocked out

Jay did his thing with wifey, Beyonce.

And after the show Birdman Jr., even had time to tell folks about delivering his newborn son Dwayne Carter III a.k.a Carter 3. [Watch Here]

Who knew Weezy had talents as a mid-wife? But, let's get back to the underlying issues at hand. Even before the Carters were giving each other the cold shoulder at shows, things were apparently somewhat icey. In an interview with MTV Wayne revealed that Jay has yet to contact him for a collaboration on The Blueprint III. Furthermore he claims he wasn't even aware that the album was coming out.

"I didn't even know it was a Blueprint 3," he told MTV. "That's because I be working so hard. If you wanna call me or tell me anything, you gotta come to that studio."

C'mon Weezy. All that statement means is that Jay has probably been giving you the silent treatment and you're trying to act like you don't care. Could Jay be upset with you for riding with Jim Jones on that "Swaggerjack From Us" diss record? Playing both sides of the situation was a real suspect move, Gollum. While I doubt anything will come out of this other than a few hurt feelings, I'll be watching to see if the Big Homie will have to unleash any subliminal shots at the Lil homie. Stay tuned.

2. Hate It & Love It. Three weeks after going in on Jay-Z for allegedly swaggerjacked his style, Jim Jones has rekindled his man crush on the Brooklyn MC. Jimmy a.k.a Syndrome was caught on tape jocking Jay-Z's verse on "Swagger Like Us". [Watch Here]

You feeling Jay's verse like that Jimmy? After you said this:

"No one on the corner got swag like you we don't Rocawear that's for f*gs like you."

What makes it even worst, The Pulse Report was able to obtain an exclusive transcript of a text message conversation between Jim and Jay during the moment in question.

Jim: At the club in ATL. Ur verse on S.L.U is CRAZY.

Jay: Yeah, I've been hearing that a lot.

Jim: No hard feelings on the diss record. It was Dame's idea

Jay: All good.

Jim: When you gon let me splash that hook for "Jocking Jay-Z" on stage wit u?

Jay: I'll get back 2 u on that.

Jim: Damn, gotta run. Dame just walked in ?

3. Ladies Man. Facing a year in the pen, T.I. is making sure he spends quality time with the ladies. The self-proclaimed "King Of The South" has been putting the ladies first, while showing off his softer side on the talk show circuit. Fresh off visiting the women of "The View," Tip logged couch time on "The Tyra Banks Show," and "Chelsea Lately."

On Tyra, Tip opened up on everything from losing his virginity to feeling guilty about the death of his best friend. [Watch Here]

After watching this interview I'm fully convinced T.I. has learned his lesson. You probably couldn't get this dude to squeeze a water gun. Good for him.

On a lighter note he was way more relaxed and charming on the always-funny "Chelsea Lately" show. He even got the late night queen of sarcasm to profess her love for "black guys." [Watch Here]

That Chelsea is funny as hell. Looking forward to when she books Kanye West.

4. Disciplinary Action. It's good to have friends you can count on. Ask Trick Trick. If the Detroit rapper ever needs a verse or production for his album he can just reach out to his good friend Eminem. And, if Em ever needs someone to appear on a missing persons list Trick Trick is there for him. Contrary to popular belief Trick Trick does not get those exclusive Em verses in return for protection. In fact the rapper set the record straight in an interview with XXL.

"That's some bullshit. If you fuck with him I'll bust your head but it's not like I'm just protecting him. That's my friend. I ride for all my friends."

Not only is he a loyal friend, Trick Trick is a responsible parent. He revealed that he was forced to "ground" his daughter for her role in the clowning of Yung Berg AKA "The Get Hitman." If you recall there was a picture of Trick's daughter sporting Berg's Autobot chain on the net after the infamous snatching.

"My daughter was properly grounded for that. I had put the chain up in my house and I didn't put it so far up. Then my daughter decide she want to take pictures with it before she go to school."

Because I value my life, I will refrain from saying anything slick. I can't risk losing my iced out Archie Bunker chain. But I hope while the young lady was grounded she understood that taking other people's property is a crime. Even though Yung Berg makes it hella easy, its still wrong.

5. Freaks Come Out At Knight. Ex-Danity Kane member Aubrey has found a new record mogul (a washed up one at that) to pal around with. Now that Diddy has given her the boot, the trashy songstress was seen partying it up with Suge Knight. [Proof Here]

I wonder if she's aware that Suge has a bad habit of mis-placing his female companions. Speaking of, Knight recently confessed to TMZ.com that he might know the whereabouts of his missing girlfriend. When asked by paparazzi about said girlfriend Knight responded:

"What girlfriend? Sh*t, she probably went to her daddy."

Well, hopefully "daddy" has seen his little girl, cause I think we might not be hearing from her in a while. Aubrey better be careful. It's one thing to be kicked out of a group by Diddy. Being punched and kicked by Suge is another.

Hit me up at [email protected]. What's the deal with Weezy and Jay? Did Jim Jones play himself by jockin Jay-Z?. Let's talk about it.
