Funnyman Craig Phillip Robinson of the popular NBC comedy "The Office" copped a plea deal to his felony drug charges earlier today which may leave him with a clean record.
According to TMZ, Robinson entered a "tentative guilty plea," to possession of ecstasy. As SOHH previously reported, the actor was originally charged with two counts of drug possession and one count of being under the influence of illegal drugs, the latter of which was dismissed today.
Court documents revealed Robinson was arrested on June 29th in Culver City for suspicion of possessing ecstasy and methamphetamine. He was released the same day after posting bail.
As part of his plea deal, he will enter a drug counseling program and if completed in 18 months, Robinson will be exonerated from his guilty plea and the conviction will be removed from his record.
This isn't Robinson's first run-in with the law. He was on probation stemming from a DUI charge in 2006 but the requirements for that case have since been met.
The actor's attorney Blair Berk, revealed "Mr. Robinson really appreciates and takes seriously the opportunity which has been given to him by the court and the prosecution to have all of the charges against him dismissed, upon successful completion of a counseling program."
Robinson recently appeared in the film Pineapple Express.
