Bail has been revoked for troubled rapper DMX following his arrest last week.
As SOHH previously reported, an Arizona judge issued a warrant for his arrest on Tuesday (August 12th) for failure to appear in court stemming from drug possession charges. The rapper, born Earl Simmons, was then spotted Thursday (August 14th) in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart in Miami, after he parked in a handicap space, and was taken in.
According to TMZ, bail was originally set at $25,000, but when X's lawyer, Brad Cohen, tried to free him on Friday, he learned that the rapper was listed as having no bail hold.
Without bail, DMX will remain in jail until his court hearing on October 2nd.
A once multi-platinum selling rapper, DMX's Arizona home is now in foreclosure and he is using a court appointed defense attorney, according to local Phoenix network, KPHO news. He has been arrested six times in 2008 alone.
