Lil' Wayne and Yung Berg were both due in Manhattan Criminal Court this morning to face gun charges.
As SOHH previously reported Yung Berg was arrested in New York City on the morning of Saturday August 9th. The rapper (born Christian Ward) was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana and menacing after a limo driver filed a complaint with the NYPD.
According to TMZ, this morning, a judge tossed out the two weapons charges against the 22 year-old rapper since it was proven that the guns found on the scene actually belonged to his security.
Berg will be back to court in December to face the other charges though his lawyer, Rober Kalinas, told TMZ that he thinks the menacing charge will be thrown out as well.
New Orleans born rapper Lil' Wayne was also due in court today but he was a no show. According to TMZ, Weezy has a dental condition, which prevented him from boarding a plane from Miami to New York.
Wayne's hearing, which stems from a 2007 weapons arrest, has been rescheduled for September.
