Photographer Jeff Gamble's exclusive photos of Biggie Smalls celebrating the night his Ready to Die went platinum appear in the December issue of Trace magazine.
In addition to the legend's never-before-printed photos, Trace's "Music Uncommon" issue features a round table of New York's hottest female DJs discussing their first rites of initiation and the best tracks of all time.
Another highlight is an interview with Serena Reeder, one of 50 Cent's latest leading ladies and silver screen first-timer. Reeder stars alongside Curtis "Interscope" Jackson in Get Rich or Die Tryin'.
In related news, 50 Cent's real life became an issue in the Lorenzo brothers' trial yesterday as Jon Ragin, a former associate of convicted drug lord Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff, testified that McGriff confessed to him having taken part in the notorious attempted hit on 50 in May 2000.
Trace Magazine's "Music Uncommon" issue is on stands now.
