New Jersey rapper/producer Dante Holly has come forward to reveal how he accurately predicted rap star Kanye West‘s new The Life Of Pablo album title this week.
According to Holly, a careful listen to some of Yeezy’s new songs helped him decoded the title.
“When I first saw [T.L.O.P.] I initially thought it’d be ‘the something of something,’ and then I thought ‘The Life Of The Party,’” Holley said. “But then I was listening back to the first two singles he dropped [“Real Friends” and “No More Parties In L.A.”] to look for clues. And that’s when I heard the lyric, ‘I feel like Pablo when I’m working on my shoes.’” (MTV)
Holly’s code-breaking prediction went viral on Twitter Monday (February 8) night.
Yeezy unveiled the solo project’s actual name and its tracklisting Wednesday (February 10).
Recently, Chicago native Twista talked to SOHH about Yeezy’s various album titles.
“I haven’t heard his album yet, just heard talk and pieces here and there,” Twista told SOHH when asked for him to pick what title he liked best prior to Ye going with T.L.O.P. “From what I hear the album sounds [good]. I like the title So Help Me God! The other two titles are kind of simple to me but may be great when it comes to other business ventures, but I like the So Help Me God title!” (SOHH)
