Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz recently dished out some romance advice to fans and revealed some key ways to keep a sports-oriented lover in your for the long haul.
Reading off a slew of submitted letters, Chainz showed off his prowess for getting to the meat of any love quarrel.
“I am 2 Chainz. If you got any problems, I’m sure I can help. Let’s get into today’s letters. ‘Dear 2 Chainz, my girlfriend says if I don’t score in the next football game, she’ll dump me. What should I do?’ I feel like you should score twice, then dump her. High school student Justin asks, ‘Dear 2 Chainz, there’s a girl crushing on me, but she’s hooked up with a few of my friends. Should I do it anyway?’ H*ll yeah. ‘Dear 2 Chainz, ever since the football season started, my boyfriend hasn’t been paying me any attention. He’s either watching football or checking up on the fantasy squad. How do I get him to stop?’ The quickest way to a man’s heart is actually through his b*lls. That’s right. Footballs and basketballs.” (T.R.U. Love W/ 2 Chainz)
Chainz relationship advice may have been served up to close friend/rapper Kanye West last October.
Kanye West has been bragging about his girlfriend’s curves. The rapper was spotted showing off bikini shots of Kim Kardashian backstage at the Samsung Galaxy Note II event at Skylight. “Kanye was showing 2 Chainz pictures of Kim in a bikini,” says a spy. Giants star Victor Cruz, Kid Cudi and French Montana also attended. “Jersey Shore” star Vinny Guadagnino was heard asking where Kim was, says a source, who heard West respond, “Getting that money! Working!” (New York Post)
Last spring, renowned comedian/actor John Witherspoon gave SOHH readers his inside perspective on dating.
“When you’re out on a date with someone, you have to see her personality. That personality is just a reflection of herself. So you have to be careful when you’re looking at that. The reason I say look at the personality closely is because if you end up marrying her, it’s going to be worse. I bet you she could go home and her mama might be doing the same d*mn thing. Watch out for her saying “me” and “I” too much because her mama is doing the same d*mn thing. Looking after the date, something you really have to consider is if you’re thinking about marrying this woman, you’ve got to go and check her mama out first. You don’t even think about proposing until you’ve seen her mama.” (SOHH)
“Love & Hip Hop” star Erica Mena also hit up SOHH with her take on romance.
“If you’re going out on a date with a guy, you have to see if he’s willing to spend a little money. I think just by waiting out and just waiting to see how far a guy will really go to keep your attention is an exciting part about being with someone. Waiting to see just how far that guy is going to go for you is something that’s really exciting and sexy to me. So the advice I would give the ladies is to hold out as long as you can. You want to be really sex and show him, “You want this, you need this but you can’t have this.” Yes, that’s the ticket right there. I think when you’re in a relationship, as women, we get kind of comfortable. I would say try to stay away from being “always” available. I think in respect to a guy, you want to always have something going on. You want your identity to shine by staying on top of work. I think it’s cool for your guy to know he always has you but try to make sure you’re not always available for the him. Keeping yourself occupied with work will help you in the long run.” (SOHH)
