Reason 1: Prepare Now
One really good reason is because if you’re paranoid about the apocalypse and you want to build a bunker, you can use this movie as a blueprint. You can do some research because John Goodman’s character builds a pretty incredible bunker that actually doesn’t look that bad. He’s a little creepy in the film but if he wasn’t there, it might not be that bad of a place to live. You can watch it and kind of build your own bunker off of inspiration taken from his character’s bunker-building.
